You Know What You Want.

So Why Do You Keep Getting in Your Own Way?

What if, instead of judging the pattern, you got curious about what’s underneath it?

Stuck to Striving is a free community created to help you notice the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, explore what’s underneath them, and begin responding differently.

Maybe you keep procrastinating on something that matters to you. You start and stop. You overthink. You put everyone else first. You wait until you feel ready. Or you find yourself pulling back just when things finally start going well.

Inside Stuck to Striving, we’re not here to tell you to just try harder.

We’re here to ask better questions.

To notice what happens before the pattern.

To become curious about why you respond the way you do.

And to begin exploring what might change when you understand yourself a little differently.

You don’t need to have it figured out. You just need a place to begin.

Maybe you know exactly what you want, but somehow your actions don’t always match it.

You tell yourself you’re going to start—and keep putting it off.

You make progress, feel good about where things are going…and then find yourself pulling back.

You say yes when part of you really wants to say no.

You keep preparing, researching, planning, or waiting for the moment when you finally feel ready.

You start something excited and determined, only to find yourself stopping again.

You second-guess decisions you once felt confident about.

You’re harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone you care about.

Or maybe you’ve simply had the thought:

“I know what I want. So why do I keep doing this?”

That question is exactly where Stuck to Striving begins.

Not with assuming what your behavior means.

Not with judging yourself for doing it.

And not with another list of things you should be doing differently.

We begin by noticing.

Because when you become curious about the pattern instead of immediately criticizing yourself for it, you can start asking a different question:

What’s happening underneath this?

What If You Got Curious About What’s Underneath It?

It’s easy to focus on the behavior.

Why did I procrastinate again?
Why did I say yes when I wanted to say no?
Why did I stop when I was finally making progress?
Why do I keep doing this?

But sometimes the behavior is only the part you can see.

Stuck to Striving gives you a place to slow down and become curious about what may be happening underneath the pattern.

We start by noticing what happened.

Then we reflect on what was happening around it—the thoughts, feelings, expectations, circumstances, or changes that may have come with that moment.

From there, we can begin to understand the pattern differently.

And with greater awareness comes the opportunity to try something different when that familiar moment shows up again.

You won’t be told what your experience means or handed an explanation for why you do what you do.

Instead, I’ll bring you questions, conversations, reflections, and experiences designed to help you become curious about your own patterns and connect your own dots.

Because sometimes the most meaningful insight isn’t someone telling you what’s underneath the behavior.

It’s the moment you recognize it for yourself.

What You’ll Find Inside Stuck to Striving

Stuck to Striving isn’t another place to collect more information and never do anything with it.

It’s a place to experience, reflect, participate, and explore at your own pace.

Here’s what you’ll find inside:

Questions & Reflections

Thought-provoking questions designed to help you pause, notice your patterns, and explore what may be underneath them. Some may make you think. Some may make you say, “Ooh…that’s me.” And every once in a while, one might make you say, “Okay, Erika. I didn’t need you calling me out like that.” 😄

Erika’s Corner
A more personal, unpolished space where I share the things I’ve been thinking about—the observations, questions, and little moments that make me stop and look at something differently. Think less formal lesson and more “Okay, I’ve been thinking about something…”

Deeper Learning
When you want to explore a topic further, you’ll also find connections to my blogs and videos where I go deeper into self-sabotage, subconscious patterns, procrastination, perfectionism, people-pleasing, confidence, follow-through, and more.

Weekly Hypnotic Experiences ~ Beginning in November
These aren’t videos where I simply talk to you about hypnosis.

They’re opportunities to actually experience hypnosis with me in real time.

Each week, we’ll explore a different theme or pattern through a hypnotic experience.

Afterward, I’ll bring the conversation back into Stuck to Striving with a reflection designed to help you notice what came up, what stood out, and what you may be beginning to see differently.

Experience → Reflect → Integrate

And through all of it, you get to decide how you participate.

You can join the conversation.
You can answer a question.
You can journal privately.
You can simply read and reflect.

Quiet participation counts, too.

There’s No Right Way to Participate

You don’t have to be the person who comments on every post.

You don’t have to share anything you’d rather keep private.

And you definitely don’t have to have the “right” answer to a reflection.

Stuck to Striving is here for you to use in the way that feels most useful to you.

Share publicly. Reflect quietly. Journal privately.

Join the conversation when you want to.

Some weeks, a question may stop you in your tracks.

Other weeks, you may simply read something and carry it with you.

And sometimes, you may not realize why something stood out to you until days later.

That counts, too.

Because this isn’t about performing your growth for anyone else.

It’s about creating space to notice yourself differently.

You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out to Begin

Maybe you already know the pattern you want to understand.

Maybe you’re just beginning to realize there is a pattern.

Either way, you don’t need to know exactly why you do what you do before you join us.

That’s what the exploring is for.

Stuck to Striving is a free place to become curious about yourself, notice what may be happening underneath the patterns that keep you stuck, and begin discovering what might be possible when you respond differently.

Come as you are.

Bring the questions you already have.

And maybe discover a few you haven’t thought to ask yet.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

You just have to be willing to notice.
